Bears Across Collier | Art Auction for the Florida Wildlife Federation

Naples, FL — The community is invited to attend Bears Across Collier, a unique art auction and community event benefiting the Florida Wildlife Federation, on Saturday, April 16, 2022, from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM at Cambier Park, located at 755 8th Ave S, Naples, FL.
Hosted by Palmetto Ridge High School, this collaborative initiative brings together student craftsmanship, local artists, and wildlife conservation efforts. Students from the school’s Construction Academy designed and built wooden bear sculptures, which were then “adopted” by 22 local artists and transformed into one-of-a-kind works of art.
The completed bear sculptures will be showcased at the Norris Center from March 21 through April 16. Community members are encouraged to view the exhibit and participate in the online auction for an opportunity to purchase a unique piece while supporting wildlife conservation. Bidding opens March 21 and can be accessed here:

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Florida Wildlife Federation’s Southwest Florida office, which has worked since 1994 to protect the western Everglades, preserve critical habitat for the Florida black bear, and reduce human-wildlife conflicts throughout the region.
The April 16 event at Cambier Park will feature all bear sculptures displayed at the bandshell alongside artist information. Attendees will also enjoy live performances from PRHS student musicians and light refreshments prepared by culinary students.
Bears Across Collier highlights the intersection of art, education, and environmental stewardship—offering students and the community an opportunity to engage in meaningful conservation efforts while celebrating creativity.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend and take part in this inspiring community event.
